I bought my first DSLR camera in 2013 when I was working at The Banff Centre as an NBC Sponsored Field Producer. I went on to finish a Masters in Digital Experience Innovation and later dabbled in more post-graduate schooling before landing back in photography!

I started Willow Phoenix Photography because I wanted to share my love of preserving memories through photographs. Named after my kids, it serves as a reminder to me that time is fleeting: our children and our parents age so quickly and photographs are memories that can be cherished forever. As first birthdays turn into decades and as brown hair turns to grey, photographs help us remember and relive the moments we can’t get back as the world turns.

My goal as your photographer is not only delivering quality photographs but ensuring that you’re relaxed and comfortable during our session! I want to see your true selves: the silly smiles, your kids’ giggles, the look of love as you gaze into your partners eyes.
