Family Session at Bighorn Lookout in Kananaskis

Over the summer I had the best little session with my family at one of our favourite spots at Bighorn Lookout in Kananaskis. The kids were full of energy, running back and forth along the path and laughing the whole time. At one point they were holding hands, skipping together like the happiest little adventurers.

The views were absolutely stunning, with sweeping landscapes that made every frame feel like a scene from a movie. Even though it was just the four of us, the joy and connection between my little ones made every shot feel alive and full of movement.

Something extra special happened while we were there. We met another photographer who offered to take a few pictures of all of us together. She knows how tough it is for mama photographers to be in the photos too, and it was such a kind gesture. I hope I can find her again to connect properly!

Moments like these make these outings even more memorable. There is something magical about mountains, wide-open spaces, car adventures, and the simple joy of kids being themselves.
