Cozy Family Session at Fish Creek Park in Calgary

This fall I had the sweetest session with a wonderful family at Fish Creek Park. They arrived with two energetic little ones, their lovable dog, and that familiar look parents get when the day has been a whirlwind. They had run late and were feeling stressed, but the moment we stepped onto the paths surrounded by tall grass and soft evening light, everything began to unwind. As a parent of two myself I always feel for families in this stage of life, but they absolutely smashed it!

By the time the session wrapped up the stress of the late arrival had completely melted away. What remained was a gallery full of warmth, connection, and genuine moments that showed exactly who they are as a family. Sessions like this are a beautiful reminder that a bumpy start does not have to shape the whole experience. Sometimes it makes the final photos even sweeter.

Fish Creek Park never fails to bring out the best in people and this lovely family was no exception.
