Maternity Session at Reader Rock Garden in Calgary

This past summer I had the joy of photographing the sweetest family who recently moved to Calgary from Ukraine. We met downtown and instantly connected. They carried such a gentle warmth and kindness, and it was easy to see how much love they share as a family.

For their maternity session we made our way to Reader Rock Garden downtown Calgary. It was the perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful evening together. The flowers were still holding on to the last colours of the season and the winding stone steps made every moment feel a little more magical. Mama looked absolutely radiant and carried such a soft glow that made every frame feel incredibly special.

Their little boy was full of curiosity and kept us all laughing as he climbed steps and posed on benches: a natural model! Watching the three of them together was pure joy. The way dad guided him along the trails and the way mama held her growing belly with so much tenderness painted the most beautiful picture of a family right on the edge of a new chapter.
